⭐ Memorably bad. ⭐⭐ Mid, but felt like a waste of time. ⭐⭐⭐ Worth playing but forgettable or considerably flawed. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Memorably good, but I probably won't play it again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Inspiringly good, or just lots of fun. Something I'll probably play again or use as a standard for my own projects.
I tend to score page turning simulators ("IF" that lack interactivity to warrant categorization as IF) low unless they are stylistic, interesting, or well-written enough to make up for the lack of player input/choice.
